WWOS 2022: Emily Ford

Emily Ford is a graduate of Utah State University. She has been captivated by captive rings since 2015. She started turning specifically to learn to make captive ring baby rattles because she had a new baby.

As she fell in love with the art she included bowls, ornaments, tops, pens, and various forms of jewelry and art pieces. She created an Instagram page for her work shortly after she began turning and the rest as they say is history. Sheturnswood has found her passion and hardly a day goes by Emily isn’t found out at her lathe. She lives in Clearfield, Utah with her husband, 4 children, two dogs, two cats and two lathes.
